Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions chief executive officer (Ceo) Lordvic Omondi Aduda has been given marching orders by the club for planning to register a parralel football governing body in Kenya.
In an exclusive information learnt by Kenyanewsonline, Aduda was issued with a sacking letter for misconduct and threatening to bring the club’s name into a disrepute.
Aduda was accussed of aligning himself with rebels planning to establish a splinter local football governing body and the controversial trip by Gor Mahia for an international friendly in Libya.
A week ago, Aduda together with a group under the aegis of Football Kenya Federation (FKF) presidential candidates declared that they were going to form a rival a parralel federation to rival FKF in the management of the sport in Kenya if their grievances in the forthcoming elections were not addressed.
The group led former Kenya’s football chief Sam Nyamweya which includes Aduda, former AFC Leopards chairman Alex Ole Magelo among others vowed to revive the defunct Kenya Football Federation (KFF) to rival FKF and hold elections to elect new office bearers.
In Tripoli where the controversial trip took place, several players are said to have stormed the hotel room of a senior club official in an effort to have their monies paid.
The physical confrontation led to the official releasing the cash to the players, explained a source in Tripoli.
The Kenyan champions had toured Tripoli recently in a trip that culminated in a one-all draw in an international friendly against Al Ahly Tripoli.
This is not the first time Aduda has been involved in destabilizing the local governing football body after earlier joining hands with Nyamweya to fight the FIFA recognised Football Kenya Limited (FKL) in supremacy wars.
During that time, Aduda a former President’s Cup Champions World Hope General Manager (GM) was in Nyamweya’s camp as the Secretary General.
After Nyamweya took over as the FKF president in 2011, he short changed Aduda and instead of appointing him as the substantive Secretary General/Ceo gave appointed to the lesser post of logistics manager.
Mid this year, Aduda announced to vie for the FKF presidency and chickened out citing an unfair decision
Nyamweya ‘Sentenced to 350 years in Jail for Looting’
Controversial Exiled lawyer Dr Miguna Miguna has sentenced former Football Kenya Federation (FKF) president Sam Nyamweya to 350 years in jail.
Sitting in the Peoples’ Court from his base in Canada, the self-proclaimed General of the now non-existent National Resistance Movement (NRM) in a tweet ruled that Nyamweya should be jailed for looting the FKF coffers dry.
“This is an image of Sam Nyamweya, a thief who learnt his trade from Cyrus Jirongo at the YK 92, a violent, barbaric and criminal outfit Daniel Arap Moi established to help him cling to power,” he said.
“Nyamweya looted KFF to death. I hereby sentence this criminal to 350 years in jail,” ruled the NRM General Miguna Miguna in twitter.
The judgment comes a week after the former president declared his intentions in the media of vyeing for the FKF presidency in the forthcoming federation’s polls.
In the tweet, Miguna said they don’t respect looters and despots.
“We respect values and virtues, human beings who have integrity, transformative vision, value truth, are honest, respect human rights pursue justice and adhere strictly to the constitution and rule of law. We fight against cartelism ROBUSTLY,” outlined the lawyer.
Miguna’s verdict drew mixed reactions from Kenyans on twitter as the ruling went a buzz trending on social media.
On twitter, Thomas Otiende reacted by asking the self-styled general to issue an arrest warrant and the peoples’ power will handle it from this end (Kenya).
“350 years is too light for a man who looted public funds. I suggest that the sentence be doubled to 700 years so that he rots in jail forever,” reacted Nico Kyalo as Immanuel Mbindye tweeted,”350 is not enough, let us make them 351 years of hard labour.”
KOT Loyal 100 replied to Miguna’s tweet,”This is the perfect description of Sam Nyamweya I have seen this far. This mofo is the reason why Kenya football management and progress is so pathetic!! Veteran Kenyan football enthusiasts will confirm this. He should be hanged by the balls!!.”
“Why not sentence him for the rest of the millennium,” tweeted Kim@Wooraras as Jimmy Chege reacted, “Should be 1000 years like Judge ‘Mutabaruka’ does in the Peoples’ Court.
Covid ORGANICS tweeted,” This is like double sentencing: both on earth and hell.” as Daniel Thuo responds by saying, “U can imagine how he is yelling everywhere on his willingness to come back as football president to continue with his usual trade. What’s usually the problem with thieves? How can one explain their appetite??”
Lukoye Lukoye begged Miguna to be merciful to the former FKF chief,” General have some mercy 350 years, that is too much.” as bishorimtamu implored “Kkkkkkkk, general have mercy.”
However, Miguna was on the receiving end as Nickxalat Ndiangui replied, “Sentence yourself for what you did before leaving the country….Was he alone in YK92?? Don’t double standard issues Canadian Street bloger…. “
“You were there during this period. What did u do as MM? George Ogiro tweeted as Tribeless Kenyan replied,”What happened to your coming back? Some sentiments you make from afar sometimes seem like you are just relentless in justice yet cowardly giving in….Si utumie ata Meli bana.”
“350 years how? Stop being unrealistic General,” replied Peter Tosh.
Social Media a Buzz over Nyamweya’s Presidency Declaration
“It’s kind of ironical, he (Nyamweya) touched on the Women’s league yet it was non existent in the latter years of his term, the current regime is not perfect but has righted alot of wrongs from previous regimes, if there was a time I would have liked to play for the national team is currently, I envy them, the current regime is on the right track even though they still have a lot to do. I would give them another term in the spirit of consistency and continuity to realize the 1st term’s aspirations” Former KEFWA president Innocent Mutiso posted on a Whatsapp group
