Kenyan Premier League (KPL) champions chief executive officer (Ceo) Lordvic Omondi Aduda has been given marching orders by the club for planning to register a parralel football governing body in Kenya.
In an exclusive information learnt by Kenyanewsonline, Aduda was issued with a sacking letter for misconduct and threatening to bring the club’s name into a disrepute.
Aduda was accussed of aligning himself with rebels planning to establish a splinter local football governing body and the controversial trip by Gor Mahia for an international friendly in Libya.
A week ago, Aduda together with a group under the aegis of Football Kenya Federation (FKF) presidential candidates declared that they were going to form a rival a parralel federation to rival FKF in the management of the sport in Kenya if their grievances in the forthcoming elections were not addressed.
The group led former Kenya’s football chief Sam Nyamweya which includes Aduda, former AFC Leopards chairman Alex Ole Magelo among others vowed to revive the defunct Kenya Football Federation (KFF) to rival FKF and hold elections to elect new office bearers.
In Tripoli where the controversial trip took place, several players are said to have stormed the hotel room of a senior club official in an effort to have their monies paid.
The physical confrontation led to the official releasing the cash to the players, explained a source in Tripoli.
The Kenyan champions had toured Tripoli recently in a trip that culminated in a one-all draw in an international friendly against Al Ahly Tripoli.
This is not the first time Aduda has been involved in destabilizing the local governing football body after earlier joining hands with Nyamweya to fight the FIFA recognised Football Kenya Limited (FKL) in supremacy wars.
During that time, Aduda a former President’s Cup Champions World Hope General Manager (GM) was in Nyamweya’s camp as the Secretary General.
After Nyamweya took over as the FKF president in 2011, he short changed Aduda and instead of appointing him as the substantive Secretary General/Ceo gave appointed to the lesser post of logistics manager.
Mid this year, Aduda announced to vie for the FKF presidency and chickened out citing an unfair decision
