Afraha Stadium Nakuru hosted two midweek BKPL games, with no team going home with all the three points.
In the first match Kericho based Zoo FC played host to mailmen Posta Rangers, in a fairly strengthed match.
Former Gor Mahia forward Denish Oalo almost broke the dead lock im the 25th minute with a low shot that was well handled by Zoo defender Pascal Ogweno.
3minutes to the end of the first half Collins Neto put Zoo ahead after a fine flick header beating Posta Rangers keeper Bryne Omondi to put the host ahead.
Coming into the second half Posta came back changed showing all intent of not wanting to head home with a loss.
In the 68th minute Dennis Oalo leveled the scores for Posta ensuring shared spoils with their nemesis.
In the second game military side Ulinzi Stars failed to produce a win against a newly promoted Bidco side that is yet to find its footing in the league winning only one game against Vihiga.
The match began on a high note with Ulinzi’s Micheal Otieno coming cross to producing a fine assist to Elvis Nandwa whose shot went wide above the bar for a goalkick.
In the 12th minute Ulinzi Stars won a freekick outside the 18yard box after Elvis Nandwa was brought with Daniel Waweru shooting wide for a goalkick.
With match gaining pace Ulinzi came close to breaking the deadlock in the 30th minute but Andayi header from a resulting corner was well handled by the Bidco keeper Edwin Mukolwe.
The two sides went for halftime break goalless a result that was replicated at the full time whistle with nothing much to show in the second period.
Both coaches rued their missed chance with Ulinzi’s Nyagweso blaming his sides forward for wasting chances but thanking his defence his defence for the point earned.
On the other side his nemesis Bidco’s Anthony Akhulia also blamed his blunt attack for the several games that he has failed to score a goal.
“My front line lacks the coordination required to win and i will improve on in the next match.” Said Akhulia.
