More youths now have a chance to represent the country in varios forms of football like Futsal and Beach Football. Previosly, Kenya had no teams playing these emerging forms of football away from the conventional football, but not anymore. The first leg ended in an 8–4 victory for Namibia, but Kenya has a strong opportunity to overturn the deficit on home soil and secure qualification for the final round, where they would face Libya. To emphasize the impotance that the FKF has placed on Futsal, the national team if now playing in tournaents and friendly matches to best prepare for major competitions. Last week, the national team played in a friendly agains ASEC Huruma.
