Green Congress Party Leader Alila champions for sustainable development

The Green Congress of Kenya party leader Hillary Alila seeks to champion for a revolutionary change into a more sustainable development mode in switch to a cleaner safer environment. According to Alila, who is the Green Congress party leader and former Homabay Senatorial contestant, Kenya has the capacity to lead into a more just, smart and sustainable development and governance and the Green Congress seeks not to retreat but tap into the new possibilities and vision. “The vision of the Green Congress of Kenya is not a retreat from development, but an advance towards a smarter, more sustainable, and more just form of it. It is a Kenya where our economic prosperity is built on the foundation of a healthy environment, not at its expense,” Alila said. The former Kenya Professional Boxing Commission president and businessman noted that Green Congress is omitted to a future where every Kenyan has access to clean air, safe water, and a thriving natural world; essentials which are not partisan issues but issues anchored in humanity indicating that every Kenyan should join in the effort to build this future. “The Green Congress of Kenya believes that a thriving economy and a healthy environment go hand in hand. Together, we will restore our land, revive our rivers, and rebuild a sustainable future for all. My love for this nation is not just a sentiment; it is a commitment. Under the GCK, an environmentally friendly economy will ensure that Government extension services serve the common man. Food security will be a national security and it will be possible to build a resilient agricultural sector that feeds Kenya. Alila added that Kenya’s water towers, the rivers and forests are the country’s future and his administration under the Green Congress government will champion community-led forest conservation and reforestation. He emphasized that the government will hold polluters of water sources accountable with strict laws and invest in protecting wildlife and national parks as vital economic assets.
