Harambee Starlets turned on the style to cruise to the third round of the 2028 Olympic Games qualifiers after swatting aside Seychelles 11-0 to complete an astonishing 22-0 aggregate over the Islanders.

The match followed a first-leg encounter which was also hosted at Ulinzi Sports Complex on Thursday, 8 October, where Kenya, who were the away team, walloped Seychelles 11-0.

Egyptian Women's Premier League side FC Masar forward Gentrix Shikanga scored a hat-trick as captain Mwanalima Adam netting a brace while Sylvia Makungu (6th minute), Violet Nanjala (12th), Vivian Nasaka (31st), Simba Queens attacker Fasila ‘Kamama’ Adhiambo and former Kenya U17 forward, Marion Serenge from the spot Serenge scoring a goal apiece for the emphatic victory.

Kenya will now await the outcome of Tuesday’s second-leg clash in Harare between Zimbabwe and Malawi (where Malawi leads 2-0) to determine their next opponent in the third round slated for between 23 February and 6 March 2027.
