A late goal scored by Elizabeth Mideva was enough for Kenya women's U20 side, Rising Starlets to pip Tanzania 1-0 in the first leg of the FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers at the Ulinzi Sports Complex in Nairobi on Saturday, February 7th, 2026. The Rising Starlets will now turn their focus to the second leg, scheduled for February 15 at the Azam Complex in Tanzania, where a place in the next round will be at stake.
