Migori Youth FC fundraiser postponed, set for next week

Migori youth are currently are at the top of the NSL table with 52 points tied with Mombasa United
The planned mega Harambee in aid of the Migori Youth Football Club has been postponed. The Harambee, which was set to be held tomorrow, Thursday 26 March, 2026 will now be held at a later date in the coming week. The Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Administration Kipchumba Murkomen, Principal Secretary for Interior Dr. Raymond Omollo and Uriri MP Mark Nyamita were set to lead the mega fundraising drive for National Super League team as the club surges on with the push for Premier League promotion. Migori youth are currently are at the top of the NSL table with 52 points tied with Mombasa United but Migori Youth have scored more goals to hold an advantage over the coastal side. Three teams will be promoted to the premier league with MOFA currently sitting in third position. Nyamita, who is the patron of the team and long-term supporter of Migori Youth has rallied on fellow leaders and all football enthusiasts to turn up and support the initiative to raise funds for the Premier League bound team. The fundraiser is aimed at raising funds to help the club sustain their impressive momentum and further strengthen the team’s development and competitiveness in the NSL during the remainder of the 2025/2026 season as they look at gaining promotion back to the top flight league.
