My One App gets upgrade as Safaricom refines digital services

Safaricom has rolled out an updated version of its My One App on both the Google Play Store and Apple App Store, introducing new improvements aimed at making the platform more convenient and user-friendly.

The update reinstates the “Favourites” tab in the transactions section, allowing users to save and quickly access frequently used contacts. It also enhances the “Frequents” feature to improve speed and ease of access to commonly used applications.

To improve continuity of service, the login experience has been optimized by reducing frequent logouts. Users can now remain signed in on Wi-Fi after their first login while maintaining account security.

Safaricom noted that additional upgrades will continue to be rolled out as part of its ongoing efforts to improve the app based on customer feedback.

Customers are encouraged to update to the latest versions—Play Store v5.1.5 (http://bit.ly/4mFrh9L) and App Store v5.1.3 (http://apple.co/41LpaIc)—to benefit from the enhancements.
