NCBA Bank has deepened its engagement with Kenyans living and working in the United Kingdom following a multi-city diaspora tour that brought the Bank 's banking, property financing, investment and wealth management solutions closer to one of its most important diaspora markets.

The UK engagement builds on NCBA’s broader 2026 Diaspora Market Activation Programme, which has seen the Bank take its proposition closer to Kenyan communities across key diaspora markets, including Australia and the United States. In Australia, the Bank engaged communities across Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth, while the U.S. leg extended across several states, reinforcing NCBA’s commitment

to understanding the evolving needs of Kenyans living abroad and connecting them to opportunities to invest, build and grow their financial futures back home. NCBA’s earlier diaspora outreach across Australia and the U.S. also reached more than 3,000 Kenyans, with discussions focused particularly on property financing and wealth management.

The tour comes as the role of the diaspora in Kenya 's economy continues to evolve, with Kenyans abroad increasingly looking beyond sending money home to investing, acquiring property, building businesses and creating long-term financial security. For NCBA, the engagements provided an opportunity to better understand these ambitions while demonstrating how customers can access and manage financial

solutions in Kenya while living abroad.

Speaking following the tour, Dennis Njau, Group Director- Retail Banking, NCBA, said the Bank 's approach to diaspora banking is increasingly focused on helping customers convert income earned abroad into lasting financial value at home.

"The diaspora opportunity is evolving. Kenyans abroad are not only supporting families through remittances; they are building businesses, buying property, investing and planning for their financial futures. Our engagement in the UK has reinforced the importance of being close to our customers, understanding their ambitions and providing the financing, investment expertise, digital access and trusted advice they need to build wealth in Kenya."

Property ownership emerged as an important area of interest during the engagements, with NCBA showcasing financing solutions that support customers looking to purchase land, buy or build homes and undertake construction while living overseas. Through solutions such as EasyBuild, diaspora customers can access a structured approach to construction, supported by professionals, while maintaining greater visibility over projects from abroad.

The Bank also highlighted its investment and wealth management solutions, enabling customers to diversify their portfolios and pursue longer-term financial goals in Kenya. This includes access to investment opportunities and advisory support designed to help customers make informed decisions around growing and preserving their wealth.

Digital banking was another key part of the engagement, with NCBA demonstrating how customers can access banking services remotely, manage their finances and transact across borders without needing to be physically present in Kenya. The Bank's Diaspora Banking proposition provides tailored solutions spanning accounts, international money transfers, foreign exchange, asset finance, secured lending,

insurance and wealth management.

The UK engagement also builds on NCBA 's wider strategy of taking its diaspora proposition closer to customers around the world. Previous diaspora outreach programmes in Australia and the United States reached thousands of Kenyans and focused particularly on investment, property financing and wealth management opportunities.

The UK tour reinforces NCBA 's commitment to being a trusted financial partner for Kenyans abroad, supporting them not only in staying financially connected to home, but also in building, investing and creating lasting wealth in Kenya.

The engagement forms part of NCBA 's broader “Banking on Belief, Empowering Ambition” brand promise and its continued focus on delivering solutions that enable customers to achieve their ambitions wherever they are in the world.
