Sakaja Govt re-opens Nairobi Central Park to the public

The Nairobi City County Government, under the leadership of Governor Johnson Sakaja has re-opened the Nairobi Central Park, adjacent to Uhuru Park, officially, for recreational use by the public, giving Nairobians and visitors an opportunity to once again enjoy this important green space.

The transformation is visible. The ambience is refreshing, the surroundings are inviting, and the beauty of the park can once again be appreciated by the people of Nairobi.

Under the leadership of H.E. Governor Johnson Sakaja, the Nairobi City County Government, through the Environment Department, continues to demonstrate that the vision of a Clean, Green and Safe Nairobi is not merely a slogan it is a commitment being translated into action.
