Shabana FC ended their home three-match losing run by pipping the 2021 Mozzartbet FKF Cup third placed finishers Bidco United 1-0 in an SportPes League match played on Saturday, 6 December at the Gusii Stadium in Kisii county.
Heading to the match, The Glamour Boys had failed to win their last three home matches, losing to Posta Rangers, Mathare United and AFC Leopards respectively.
Bidco, on the other hand, were on a six-match winless run, including back-to-back defeats against Police and Posta Rangers and had scored only two goals in the six matches.
Returning to Gusii Stadium after over a month on the road, Shabana captain Mike Okolla made no mistake from the spot in the 55th to earn the Galmour Boys maximum points.
In the end, Shabana secured three vital points that took them to third on the league table with 18 points while Bidco remain 10th with 13 points as their winless run extends to seven games.
