Manyatta Cider and the Folk Fusion festival are set to thrill Nairobi on Saturday 25th May in a spectacular showcase of food, culture, music and African heritage.
The Folk Fusion is a celebration of African music, Africans and Africa. It is the homeof traditional tunes, rhythms, movements and contemporary folk culture. This coming together is a celebration of our cultural diversity through the preservation of our heritage.
Established in 2018, the Folk fusion has hosted multiple editions that have seen the event grow exponentially, enabling it to move from 150 revellers in the first edition to 2000 revellers in the latest edition.
Manyatta is driven by the desire to appreciate and promote our culture, following its vision of being true to our roots in a modern way. It comes in flavors that are expressions of the Tastes of Africa: Mango, Lemon, Ginger, and Mint. Manyatta is a curator of authentic African Tastes: Fashion, Food, Vibe, you name it.
This exciting collaboration will give revellers a lively celebration that brings together a stellar line-up of local acts across various genres, promising an unforgettable experience under the African sun. The artists’ line up for this year’s edition of the Folk Fusion is a list of impeccable artists including Okello Max, Watendawili, Fadhilee Itulya, Serro and Shad Mziki. Fans can expect high-octane performances filled with chart-topping hits and electrifying stage presences.

This one day African party will take part over three legs aptly named Flava Edition, Legends Editions and Wanderlust Edition. The first of the three legs will be the Flava Edition, which will take place on Saturday May 25 th 2024 at the Paradise Gardens off Kiambu Road.
