Four matches are set to be aired live on Pay TV platform Azam TV and Free-to-Air channel KBC as the much-anticipated 2024/25 FKF Premier League kicks off this weekend.
The new season’s opening match shall witness Posta Rangers take on Bandari at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos starting at 1 pm. After that, at the same venue, Robert Matano’s Sofapaka shall be away to the gaffer’s former employers, Tusker. Both of the matches shall be LIVE on Azam TV.
The Police Sacco Stadium, KCB will be home to Kariobangi Sharks in yet another match that shall be LIVE on KBC starting from 3 pm.
Meanwhile, the only match of the day that will not enjoy live coverage is one pitting Bidco United at home to Shabana at the Thika Stadium. The match kicks off at 3 p.m.
On Sunday, Mathare United’s return to the top tier against AFC Leopards at the Dandora Stadium, starting at 3 pm, shall be LIVE on KBC. This will be one of three matches, with the other two not scheduled for LIVE broadcast.
In the meantime, Gor Mahia and Kenya Police, who were set to face FC Talanta and Nairobi City Stars, respectively, shall be in action in their respective CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup qualification matches.
