Opposition leader Kalonzo Musyoka has dismissed claims of an alliance between President William Ruto and predecessor Uhuru Kenyatta.
Kalonzo said that this was propaganda being peddled by bloggers into making Kenyans think that the two leaders had struck a political handshake.
He said after the both leaders issued conflicting statements on the purpose and resolutions of the meeting and their was no statement from both camps indicating that they had struck a political alliance
“Their camps issued different statements after their meeting but which mostly were centered on national issues and nothing about their political future of forming an alliance ,” said Kalonzo.
The Wiper party leader said it was a mutual meeting of the two leaders where Ruto is free to meet the ex-president at both personal and official levels and should not be misinterpreted to mean that a political deal is in the offing.
