Three make up matches will be played in the Kenya premier league, one on Tuesday the 14th and the other two on Wednesday the 15th of February 2022. on Wednesday the 15th of February, at the Kasarani Annex a slum derby will be going down as Kariobangi sharks host Mathare United. Having seen their first half lead overturned by the league leaders, and eventually losing 1-3, Sharks will approach this match with all the caution that they can as Mathare United will prove to be a tricky side. They might be placed 17th on the log but their 1-0 win in the last round will for sure inject some much needed confidence to the slum boys.
The two sides have met twelve times since 2017, Sharks boasts of a slim upper-hand, of five wins to Mathare’s three. The derby has recorded four draws. The last clash between the two sides was a goal less draw at the Annex in march 2022.
At the Mumias complex, bottom placed Vihiga bullets will be playing hosts to a visiting Bidco united. The visitors currently lie 12th with sixteen points same as 11th placed Kariobangi sharks but with an inferior goals tally. Having won only once in their last five fixtures, a victory against the bottom placed bullets will be a welcome result. An outcome that could catapult them to 10th a point above Posta Rangers.
