Gor Mahia moved to third place in the Football Kenya Federation Premier League (FKF PL) after whipping FC Talanta 3-0 at the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani in Nairobi on Thursday, January 25, 2023.

Ten minutes later, former national under 19 team player Benson Omala doubled the score to take his goal tally to 10.
