Kenya Drone Tech and Data Expo & Conference to Be Hosted at Sarit Centre

The inaugural Kenya Drone Tech and Data Expo & Conference  is set to take place at the Sarit Centre in Nairobi on the 4th and 5th of July, 2020.

The event, which is the first of its kind in Kenya, has been organized by Drone Space Kenya, in conjunction with the Kenya Civil Aviation Authority (KCAA) and Konza Technopolis Development Authority (KoTDA).

Over 100 local certified drone pilots enthusiasts are expected to take part in the event, will run for two days.

The conference will also be graced by renowned local and global  drone professionals, led by Zimbabwe’s Tawanda Chihambakwe.

ICT Cabinet Secretary Joe Mucheru is among the expected keynote speakers at the conference which will be held under the theme; The Role of Drones and Data In Spurring Economic Growth in Kenya and the 4th Industrial Revolution in Africa.

Industry stakeholders will also highlight on the role drones and data will play to advance the Kenyan Big Four Agenda and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Local and global exhibitors will showcase the latest drone technology for various applications at the expo.
