Mudavadi did not walk out on our church service says ACK Bishop

The Anglican Church of Kenya Bishop has clarified that the ANC boss and presidential hopeful in 2022 never walked out during the ordination service of the first ever woman Bishop at Butere church.

During the ordination service of Bishop Okeno, the ACK provost Mr Ole Sapit had given out a communication that he would not allow any politician to take to the podium and address the gathering.

Anglican Archbishop Jackson Ole Sapit has refuted claims that ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi walked out of the Consecration ceremony of Bishop Rose Okeno held in Butere on Sunday

The provost has clarified that Hon Mudavadi indeed sought permision to leave the function to go and attend to some other engagement in Murang’a.

“Hon Mudavadi did not storm out of our service qs it hqs been reported by a section of the media. He indeed communicated to us that his stay would be brief as he had another engagement in Murang’a” said Bishop Ole Sapit
