One Kenya Alliance (OKA) principals were hosted by the Mount Kenya Unity Forum led by former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo on Sunday, December 19, 2021.
Musalia Mudavadi (ANC), Moses Wetang’ula (Ford Kenya), Kalonzo Musyoka (Wiper), Gideon Moi (Kanu) and Cyrus Jirongo toured the county and were hosted by Mt Kenya Unity Forum members led by Kabogo who is the Tujibebe Wakenya Party leader as the OKA principals took their campaigns to Kiambu.
The OKA principals and Mount Kenya Unity Forum met in the campaign as they called for unity of purpose.
Taking to Twitter, Mudavadi said, “We are leaving no one behind. As One Kenya Alliance and Mt Kenya Unity Forum, we want an election that is verifiable, free and fair.”
The meeting with the forum comes as key players in the 2022 race woo the mountain.
The Mount Kenya Unity Forum and OKA comes at the heels of the Mt Kenya Foundation, an influential club of prominent businessmen from President Uhuru Kenyatta’s backyard, settled on Raila as its preferred 2022 presidential candidate early this month.
Members of the foundation were among the key guests at ODM leader Raila’s Azimio la Umoja meeting at Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani in Nairobi.
