Stephen Opiyo netted twice for Kamiti to their third consecutive win in the Sakaja Super Cup by beating Roysambu Sharks 2-0n in Roysambu Sub County leg at Mahiga Primary School at the weekend.
Again in Roysambu, Pan Africa Christian University (PAC) fought from a goal down to pip Saints 2-1 and make it three wins in a row.
Brighton Onyango and Indire Alvin were on target for the students after Oscar Odhiambo drew first blood for the Saints in the 32nd minute.
In Embakasi South Sub County Real Warriors overwhelmed City Foxes in the the third round of the Sakaja Super Cup to post their first win of the campaign at Ruben grounds over the weekend.
The warriors attacked from the onset and no wonder they took the lead in the 6th minute through Joseph Ondieki and Kelvin Kioko before Peter Majanga pulled one back for the Foxes. The win lifted the Warriors from the bottom of the standings.
In another match in Embakasi Sub County, Kamongo edged out Cyprus FC 2-1. Joseph Wamalwa and Maxwell were on target for Kamongo as Cyprus replied through Moses Wetunga.
Caleb Abuga netted a hatrick to enable Creative Hands trounce Pipeline 3-0.
In Dagoretti South Sub County, Uthiru United earned their first points of the tournament after being heldto a 2-2 draw by Kitchen College at NCC grounds.
Ndirangu Maina and Anthony Mutuma were on the mark for Uthiru while Ian Kinyanjui and Briton Mwenda replied for the students.
A brace by Innocent Keli and a goal scored by Alphan Muthoka is that Dream team FC needed to thrash needed to beat Mukuru Combined 3-1.
In Makadara, former Kenyan Premier League clubs Black Mamba and Hakati Sportiff posted mixed results.
Black Mamba were held to a 2-2 draw by Bahati All Stars to top the standings as Hakati Sportiff were edged out by Michezo Halisi to stay at the basement of the standings.
Former Harambee Stars captain Victor Wanyama’s boyhood club Country Bus FC trounced Kayaba United 4-1 for their third win of the tournament at Landi Mawe grounds.
In Starehe, Festus Bett penned his name twice on the scoresheet with Brain Okuh and Cyrus Mwai adding a goal each for the convincing victory.
In Kibra, A lone goal netted by Ahmed Mohammed was enough for Aqsa to pip Mashimoni at Olympic Primary School.
Kenya Science Ballers were subjected to their second consecutive draw after fighting to a 2-2 stalemate by Inter Base.
Jeff Odhiambo netted twice for Inter Base as Alfred Moturi grabbed a brace for the draw at Olympic Primary School as Katwekera All Stars settled for a barreb draw against Golf Course.
