Ainabkoi member of parliament, William Chepkut finally breaks silence from hospital and reveals how he ended up in hospital. He has revealed that he was involved in an accident after falling from a City Hotel’s staircase.
He missed a step at the staircase and sustained serious knee injuries and was admitted. He later traveled to Dubai for further medications.
“In July, I missed a step at the hotel and rolled down several metres to the ground; I fainted and was rushed to Nairobi Hospital where I received treatment was discharged,” he explained.
He underwent surgery after being involved in another accident in Uganda after attending some official meeting.
“I took it lightly and came back home and then proceeded to Uganda for other duties. But in a shocking twist of fate, around the same time I suffered two other accidents that totally grounded me,” he added.
He says that in the last accident, he fractured his hand and was rushed to Mediheal Hospital in a critical condition where he was admitted at the Intensive Care Unit. He later underwent a 36-hour surgery on his legs and the injured arm.
William Chepkut has been in the Mediheal hospital in Parklands receiving medication.
On 13th October he was diagnosed with undisclosed illness.
Chepkut has been missing in action for some months now in various events as he is known for his comical jigs as he never fails to attract people’s attention.
